About the role
We are seeking a General Assistant Supervisor to lead, manage and supervise a small team of General Assistants.
You’ll supervise the work of the team on a day-to-day basis, contributing to the well-being of residents by ensuring the accommodation and communal areas are clean and tidy, and that the laundry service meets the needs of the care home, the residents and other staff teams.
You’ll prepare and maintain a 4-week Rota, ensuring the General Assistant team is adequately staffed at all times and take responsibility for the training of new team members, developing/initiating ideas to help the team work more effectively in consultation with Care Home Manager.
About you
As our Supervisor, we’d like you to have previous experience of staff supervision with working knowledge of Health and Safety. Able to work as part of a team, you’ll have the ability to prioritise and organise workload. You’ll be a strong communicator (both written and verbal) with strong customer service skills.
