Role: Electronics Test Technician.
Rate: £40pphr, outside IR35
Location: Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey. You will be required to work 4-5 days per week onsite.

Security Clearance Requirement: Applicants must currently hold or have held UK SC clearance within the past 18 months.
Responsibilities
* Conduct IPC-level inspections of electronic assemblies during production and pre-test stages
* Execute formal test procedures and accurately record results, including hardware, software, and firmware configurations
* Use standard test equipment to take precise measurements
* Identify and report discrepancies in test documentation
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
* Proven ability to meet high standards under tight deadlines
* Direct collaboration experience with engineering teams
* Prior involvement in Defence-related projects
* IPC inspection certification
* BTEC qualification in Electronics (ONC/HNC/HND) or equivalent
Skills & Attributes
* Proficient in using test equipment: digital oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, function generators, multimeters, and power supplies
* Capable of maintaining multiple production test and reference setups
* Skilled in fault diagnosis and repair at component level for both analogue and digital circuits
* Competent with Microsoft Office tools
* Must hold current UK SC clearance
* Self-motivated and eager to learn and grow professionally
* Advanced manual testing expertise
* Confident in using hand tools and electronic test equipment
* Able to interpret electronic/mechanical drawings and test specifications
