Job Description
Reporting directly to the Head of Manufacturing Excellence we are recruiting for the following position within the Group's Manufacturing Excellence department based at the Paper Mill in Bridgend.
Your responsibilities:
* Introduction of company standards to develop the mill via efficiency and technology leadership
* Improving the overall efficiency and profitability of the areas supported
* Support the Mill's organisational development with the introduction of Green Organisation
* Support the development of individuals by effectively coaching them in fulfilling their roles and applying ManEx tools sustainably
* Support a collaborative style, within the mills within your responsibility, and achieve a high level of engagement and acceptance of the Manex tools
* Support development and conduct implementation of Technical Training Packages
* Actively participate in the ManEx team in further developing ManEx standards and in facilitating group wide workshops
* Support continuous operational cost reduction activities to continuously improve the mills competitiveness
* Support networking with OPM, Process Engineers and group functions to foster learning and development
Your profile:
* Personality: Team player, self motivated, flexible approach to work, empathic
* Working method: coaching, team-orientated, methodical, ability to work independently, hands on,
* Experiences and know-how: demonstrable experience of coaching, professional experience, preferably in the paper industry, proven experience in successful development of organisations, hands on implementation experience of ManEx, Lean, TPM or alike methodologies, proven leadership experience in team based organization, sound knowledge of MS Office
* Qualification: must be degree-qualified or equivalent
* Languages: fluent in English
* Educational background: must hold qualifications in engineering and have very good demonstrable technical understanding
* Mobility: expected to travel to and work at other UK Wepa sites
