As a Health and Safety Advisor at 7 Steel UK, youll be joining a team that is dedicated to creating a safe working environment for our people. Working within our Health & Safety department no two days will be the same; one minute, you could be conducting on-site inspections and the next, developing Health and Safety plans. Youll not only be responsible for supporting our managers to ensure that health & safety polices are followed, you will also play a key role in improving them.
Youll have a background working as a Health and Safety Advisor, ideally in a heavy industry environment. However, what is most important to us is that you are a confident communicator and you are able to convey your expertise, knowledge and advice to others. Regular inspections, auditing and following up on agreed actions will be a key part of your role, so youll have previously worked to ISO 45001 requirements.
This role will require a NEBOSH diploma (or equivalent).
