Location : Dundee, Scotland (office based role)

Work Expereince : 5-7 years

Salary : 38,000 - 40,000 pound per annum

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join a dedicated team supporting the operations of a prestigious estate. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on professional who values excellence, discretion, and proactive property care.

Key Responsibilities

Estate Maintenance & Infrastructure

* Manage the upkeep of all estate buildings, systems, and utilities (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, irrigation).
* Conduct routine inspections and ensure timely preventative maintenance.
* Coordinate and supervise external contractors, vendors, and service providers.
* Maintain detailed maintenance logs and service schedules.

Grounds & Outdoor Areas

* Oversee the condition of landscaping, hardscaping, pathways, pools, and fountains.
* Collaborate with gardeners and grounds staff for seasonal upkeep and improvements.

Equipment & Facilities

* Maintain tools, machinery, utility vehicles, and estate equipment.
* Oversee the functionality of generators, water systems, and specialized installations.

Support to Household Operations

* Provide technical support to household staff for appliances, lighting, and climate systems.
* Remain on-call for urgent repairs or emergencies, including after-hours as required.

Planning & Budgeting

* Assist in managing the maintenance budget and procurement of supplies.
* Track expenses and suggest cost-effective improvements or upgrades.
* Support long-term capital planning for infrastructure enhancements.

Ideal Candidate Profile

* 5 to 7 plus years of experience in estate, property, or facilities management preferably in a private residence or luxury setting.
* Strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and building systems.
* Skilled in vendor management, scheduling, and contract oversight.
* Highly organized, self-motivated, and solution-oriented.
* Committed to discretion, professionalism, and maintaining confidentiality.
