Based in Whitby, North Yorkshire, working under the direction of the Shore Operations Manager, you will form an essential part of the Authority's land-based team, actively supporting the enforcement of fisheries regulations across the Authority's district. Attaining warranted status, day to day responsibilities will involve inspecting vessels in ports and at sea, premises and businesses involved in the fishing industry and supporting some of the Authority's field survey work both onshore and offshore.
Experience in a similar role and field would be advantageous but not essential.
