A fast growth tech start up that solves commercial problems for professional sports clubs is currently making its mark in the UK. After significant early success on the continent with more than 50 high profile clubs signed, they’re now connecting with new partners in the UK. All clients are professional team sports clubs with a focus on football as the most heavily commercialized team sport (the product has been developed by football people with amazing connections). However, the model is equally applicable to rugby, cricket, basketball, ice hockey and more.


The first UK hires will be client facing, starting with a full time, remote Customer Success and Onboarding Manager.


A big sports fan, you will have worked in a commercial team (commercial sales, partnerships, sponsorship etc.) within a professional team sports environment, understanding how revenue is generated from rights, sponsorship and hospitality and the challenges of delivering full value for them to partners, fans and the club.


Your Responsibilities:

* Introducing new partners to a specialist SaaS solution from contract signing to go-live
* Support and professional onboarding for new clients (on-site at professional football clubs)
* Conducting 1:1 training sessions – both on-site and remote
* Daily support, consultation and assistance to clubs with technical or content-related questions
* Collecting client feedback and helping to make product improvements in collaboration with sales and tech teams
* Enhancing customer retention and satisfaction
* Identifying and pre-empting challenges and risks, as well as upsell opportunities


What Sets You Apart:

* A customer- and service-oriented mindset with the ability to understand the particular client needs and challenges within the professional sports environment
* Enjoyment and experience of direct client facing roles
* Strong digital affinity and technical understanding
* Fluent English skills are a must (additional European languages, especially German,are a great plus to support international growth)
* Positive, open demeanor when collaborating with clients, service providers, and colleagues
* A healthy hands-on mentality, combined with resilience and commitment
* Reliable, independent, structured, and team-oriented working style
* Willingness to travel – being on site at football (or rugby, cricket etc.) clubs
* Strong affinity for and interest and experience within professional sports
* Knowledge of common Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems
