Key Responsibilities: - Helping students develop independent learning strategies - Improve academic writing, reading comprehension, and research skills - Support time management, organisation, and planning for deadlines - Encourage use of academic resources and referencing techniques - Create personalised action plans and track progress Required Qualifications, one of the following: - The Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (PATOSS) - Full membership, associate membership, affiliate professional. - British Dyslexia Association (BDA) - AMBDA, AMBDA RE/HE, Professional - The Association of Dyslexia Specialist in Higher Education (ADASHE) - Professional QA Tutor Membership - Dyslexia Guild (DG) - Associate, Associate FE/HE, Member, Fellow Desirable Skills: - Further CPD or understand of varying support needs such as ASC, ADHD, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia etc,.
