Overview
We are pleased to announce that our client, one of the largest and most recognised brands within the music industry, is seeking a .NET Developer to work out of their plush offices in the heart of Salford.
You will be working on the development of high‑availability and highly‑transactional .NET / C# applications which will be critical to the launch of their new online music shopping channel.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain .NET/C# applications with a focus on high availability and high transaction‑volume.
* Write clean, robust, and well‑documented code following SOLID, DRY, and best practices.
* Design and implement RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core Web API.
* Work with Azure SQL, MongoDB, and other data stores.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on Agile development cycles.
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Proficient in .NET, .NET Core, C#.
* Experience with Azure SQL and MongoDB.
* Knowledge of ASP.NET Core, EF Core, RESTful services.
* Familiarity with front‑end technologies such as Angular, Vue.js, TypeScript.
* Experience with multithreading and performance optimisation.
* Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills.

Salford, UK / Remote Working – applicants must be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
