Trade Engineer – Painter & Decorator (Voids)

37 hours per week - 8am to 4pm (3:30pm Fri)
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Voids Supervisor, you will carry out maintenance activities, responsive repairs and planned works across our residential, public and commercial properties. You will primarily deliver high-quality painting and decorating services, while also supporting a range of associated multi‑skilled tasks to ensure works are completed efficiently, safely and to a high standard.
* Maintain accurate job records, documentation, certificates and updates via handheld IT devices
* Provide excellent customer service at all times
* Take responsibility for company vehicles, equipment, materials and van stock
* Participate in emergency call‑out and flexible working rotas (08:00–18:00, Monday–Friday, plus out‑of‑hours on rota basis where applicable)
Qualifications and Experience
* Craft City & Guilds or S/NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating
* Proven experience in domestic painting and decorating
* Experience delivering maintenance services within social housing (void and occupied properties)
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety best practice
* Full UK driving licence
