About the role
We are looking for a Workforce Management Specialist to join the team. This key role focuses on developing WFM solutions to support our shop estate. You will design, develop, and test functionalities that ensure our shop Partners are in the right place at the right time, enabling excellent customer service.
* Salary: £51,000 - £75,000
* Contract type: Permanent
* Working pattern/flexible working: The Partnership adopts a hybrid working approach, allowing a mix of office and home-based work based on personal needs and business requirements. Typically, around 1 day a week in the office for connection and ad-hoc meetings.
* Location: Bracknell Head Office
Key responsibilities
As a Workforce Management Specialist focused on Solutions Development, you will design, develop, and implement tools and functionalities that optimize staffing and scheduling, contributing to retail excellence. You will also leverage your coding skills, particularly in JavaScript, to create maintainable solutions that enhance our platforms.
In this role, you will:
* Execute tasks and plans aligned with retail strategy
* Manage stakeholder relationships effectively
* Provide insights and contribute to continuous improvement
* Support talent development within the team
Please note that this role is known internally as Workforce Management Specialist.
Essential skills/experience
* Proficient in JavaScript (both back-end and front-end)
* Understanding of REST API design and consumption
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience working with cloud-based systems and large data sets
* Proven problem-solving skills
Desirable skills/experience
* Experience with REST API development and consumption
* Proficient in HTML & CSS
* Experience with React JS, Tailwind CSS, and Express JS
* Experience with GCP or other cloud platforms
* Knowledge of WFM applications and data flows
