Shepherd Neame is seeking a Chef to join our kitchen team. If you are a new or aspiring chef looking for a fresh challenge and to develop your career in the kitchen, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
The Marine Hotel, located just outside Whitstable on Tankerton Slopes, is a beautiful Kentish coastal retreat. It offers 30 elegant, spacious bedrooms with many featuring sea views or private balconies. The historic Grade II Listed building has recently undergone extensive refurbishment. Guests can dine in the relaxed bar and lounge or in the formal restaurant. Our function rooms are popular venues for weddings, meetings, and events.
We understand that talented chefs are essential to a successful kitchen. In this role, you will work as part of our friendly and supportive team to deliver excellent dining experiences.
Previous catering experience is beneficial but not necessary. If you love food, are confident, motivated, and a great team player, we can train you and teach you everything you need to know.
