Overview
Consultant Psychiatrist for Early Intervention in Psychosis (PSYPHER) at NAI Terramont Commercial. The Trust is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Hull and East Riding Early Intervention in Psychosis (PSYPHER) Team. The team works with people aged 14 to 65 who are experiencing their first episode of psychosis or who might be at risk of developing psychosis.
Responsibilities
* Provide medical leadership, assessment and management of patients on the community caseload within the PSYPHER Team.
* Offer consultation to care coordinators and contribute to the on-call rota for the wider General Adult Service.
* Deliver care in patients’ homes or at designated bases, in line with the New Ways of Working Model.
* Engage in multidisciplinary team activities and contribute to service development through research and support.
* Collaborate with colleagues across the Trust’s Research Department and the University of Hull.
* Support relapse prevention and other therapies as part of an integrated care approach.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Approved as a Responsible Clinician or be willing to undertake training to obtain Section 12(2) MHA and renew this approval according to agreed procedures.
* Ability to commute within the Trust’s geographical area with access to appropriate transport.

About the Team and Location
The Hull and East Riding PSYPHER Team serves individuals aged 14–65 in Hull and East Riding, delivering services in home settings and within trusted bases. The team includes Care Co-ordinators, Social Workers and Clinical Support Nurses, and participates in active in-house training and research projects.
