NowPatient is a Class I Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), available on iOS, Android, and desktop. We provide online pharmacy and real-time telehealth services, including AI-driven health tools, US drug coupons, medication reminders, private self-pay treatments, chronic condition support, and continuous risk monitoring. Our services are live in the US and expanding to the UK.
As we gear up for our UK launch, we're seeking a UK-licensed General Practitioner with a passion for digital health to become our Clinical Lead. This role will focus on the UK market while offering opportunities for cross-border collaboration with our US clinical teams to shape the future of global digital healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
* CQC Leadership: Own and manage our Care Quality Commission (CQC) registration and compliance processes.
* Clinical Oversight: Lead our UK online prescribing service with a focus on safety, ethics, and adherence to NICE and MHRA guidelines.
* Protocol Development: Create and maintain evidence-based clinical protocols tailored to digital care.
* Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure clinical integrity in digital tools and AI features.
* Governance & Quality: Drive clinical governance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* International Collaboration: Work with US teams to align strategy, share best practices, and ensure clinical consistency across markets.
What We're Looking For:
* GMC-registered General Practitioner with an active UK license.
* Proven experience in digital health or telemedicine settings.
* Strong understanding of UK clinical regulations (CQC, NICE).
* Familiarity with ISO 13485, DCB 0129/0160, and NHS DTAC (preferred).
* Excellent communication and leadership skills across clinical and non-clinical teams.
* Experience in protocol development or digital prescribing is a plus.
* Interest in global digital health trends and innovation.
