Gearbox Mechanic

Pay range: £30,000 – £36,000

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose and repair a wide range of gearboxes.
- Inspect gearbox systems to identify faults and carry out necessary repairs.
- Fault find and troubleshoot components to pinpoint issues and ensure correct functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of all work completed.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines when handling equipment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely job completion.
Requirements
- Must have some mechanical knowledge (previous gearbox experience is beneficial but not essential).
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, hardworking, and keen to learn.
