Our client is seeking Residential Childcare Practitioners to join their dedicated team in children's residential homes in Derby.
You will play a crucial role in supporting and caring for children and young people, helping them develop life skills, build positive relationships, and achieve their full potential. You will work alongside a Senior Co-Worker on a structured rota, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
What Were Looking For
* Experience in children's residential care or transferable skills
* Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care
* Level 3 Childrens Workforce qualification
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
* Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (Residential) or working towards this qualification
* These qualifications are preferred rather than essential, and we welcome strong applicants who can demonstrate relevant experience, transferable skills, and a genuine commitment to working with children and young people
* A full UK driving licence (essential) youll need to transport young people to appointments, school, social activities etc
* Compassion, resilience, and the ability to build strong relationships with young people
Shift Pattern
* Long shifts plus sleep ins
* Rolling 3-week rota
* Averaging 10 shifts per month
