Job Advert Location Description
Reporting to the Clinical Psychologist, the successful candidate will be attached to one of our three private wards within the hospital but able to support colleagues when needed.
They will be joining an experienced team, committed to delivering successful treatment based on outcomes.
As an Assistant Psychologist, you will work alongside the psychology team to support and enhance the professional psychological care and assessment of individuals. Your responsibilities will include delivering handovers, inducting patients into our therapy programme, attending Multi-Disciplinary Team Meetings, supporting the mental, emotional, and social well-being of service users, undertaking protocol-based psychological assessments, assisting in the formulation and delivery of care plans involving psychological treatments, facilitating therapy groups, conducting one-to-one key work sessions, discharge planning, and supporting staff training.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults struggling with mental health issues, be passionate about patient support, possess excellent communication skills, be professional, flexible, adaptable to change, and hold a psychology degree.

Set within landscaped gardens, Priory Hospital Roehampton offers a calming, recovery-focused environment for residential treatment of up to 100 service users, along with day care and outpatient services.
Specialising in mental health, addictions, and eating disorders, our multidisciplinary team delivers personalised treatment programs and maintains a high standard of care.
The Private Adult Service, which the successful candidate would join, comprises three wards providing general psychological care/support to up to 55 service users.
