Junior Clinical Fellow Nephrology

Job responsibilities
* Provide general medical care within the department in close co‑operation with colleagues and other specialties.
* Provide emergency general medical care within the on‑call rota.
* Participate in the department’s teaching, audit, and educational activities.
Qualifications/Training
* Hold a current licence to practice from the General Medical Council.
* Advanced Life Support Certificate or equivalent.
Knowledge
* Experience of audit.
Previous Experience
* 12 months experience working in Medicine at Core Level or equivalent.
* NHS experience.
Fitness to Practice
* Up to date and fit to practice safely and aware of own training needs.
* Evidence of engagement with appraisal and revalidation.
Skills
* Able to evidence engagement with clinical governance and the identification of errors and the learning from errors.
* Show situational awareness and application of good decision making.
* Lead on patient safety issues and achieve a change in practice.
* Experience of supervising undergraduates, doctors in training and other colleagues.
* Ability to teach clinical skills.
* Experience in organising educational activities.
