The Team The Senior Analyst plays a key role in the delivery of high quality software in a fast paced and dynamic agile environment. Gather the require metrics to ensure quality standard can be monitored and maintained. Balances speed of delivery with high quality customer deliverables through Situational Awareness, leading by example, teaching and along with performing an Analyst role. Also, mentors and coaches Analysts in regards to the QA Standards. You Will Be Understanding and interpreting either software or implementation requirements, acceptance criteria and customer issues to weigh against developer implementation, or a successful implementation. If this role is in a portfolio team (as opposed to implementation) Ensuring that sufficient test coverage from a Functional, Scenario, UI and Usability perspective is achieved and create and maintain suitable test environments for all software testing including set-up of software being tested and population/configuring of test data. Preparing, reviewing and executing test cases to agreed high quality standards which are within the Application Lifecycle Management methodology or Implementation methodology and build. Working effectively in cross functional sprint teams, actively participate in scrum meetings and retrospectives to provide honest feedback with regard to successes and failures during each project. Constantly seek to enhance knowledge to improve product, domain, competency and teamwork skills. Ensuring all deliverables relating to QA are completed to a high quality and in a timely manner for any assigned projects. Ensuring high quality standards with regard to process, use of test tools, statistics capture, test documentation and execution are followed and maintained. Working with colleagues to implement and follow ongoing improvements to process and quality standards to benefit the overall test effort. Demonstrating versatility with regard to adapting many different situations on a day to day basis with regards to own workload and coaching Analysts. Actions influencing Analysts/Stakeholders to behave and respond in ways that are valuable for organisational outcomes. Informing principals of any delays and challenges where the quality of the products or implementation are hugely affected. Assisting in the development of QA life cycle, processes, and guidelines, for new and existing technologies or implementations. Teaching and mentoring less experienced team members to improve healthcare domain knowledge for products, and to ensure consistency across QA processes and standards. You Will Bring 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Quality Assurance with 2 years' experience as a Senior QA Analyst or relevant. Ability to demonstrate combination testing by identifying tests that can help required learning in relation to the space of combinations of these variables. Experience in evaluating potential testing tools that could be beneficial to The Craneware Group QA team and where they can be utilised. Proven knowledge of when to apply specific Testing Techniques for the system under tests or implementation builds. Awareness of latest testing technologies used, and detailed knowledge of how they are utilised/benefit projects and others within the QA Team at The Craneware Group. Positive attitude towards team members and to problem solving. Solid attention to detail. Ability to notice challenges quickly, take on the challenge and see it through to the end solution. Proven experience in negotiation, representing interests and processes, speaking openly and resolving conflicts.
