Essential
Essential criteria
1. Professional Nursing Registration eg. RGN, RMN, RNLD at least 3 years
2. Extensive post qualifying experience and robust understanding of safeguarding and domestic abuse legislation.
3. A working knowledge of the Care Act 2014, mental capacity assessments, deprivation of liberty safeguards applications, continuing care or complex case management within social care/nursing.
4. Experience of attending MARAC meetings.
5. Evidence of Safeguarding Adults multi-agency safeguarding training at level 3
6. Able to travel between Trust Sites either by public transport or own car.
Desirable criteria
7. Experience of working in an acute hospital setting
8. Undertaking Internal Management Reviews for SAR's, DARDR's OWHR's
9. Contributing towards Safeguarding Adult Reviews (SAR)
10. Knowledge of PSIRF methodology.
11. Safeguarding Children Training at Level 3
