The Bar Manager will be responsible for leading and developing both Martha’s Bar within the Spa and the main hotel bar, delivering two distinct yet equally exceptional guest experiences under the NICI brand. Drawing inspiration from the success of NICI Bournemouth, this role combines operational excellence with creativity and strong leadership to ensure both venues reflect the hotel’s Hamptons-inspired style, relaxed, sophisticated, and vibrant. The Bar Manager will play a key role in shaping each bar’s identity, balancing calm, wellness-led service in the spa environment with a lively, social atmosphere in the main bar, while maintaining consistently high standards across both operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of Martha’s Spa Bar and the main hotel bar.

Recruit, train, and lead bar teams, ensuring exceptional service and brand consistency.

Develop and maintain creative, high-quality drinks menus suited to both spa and social settings.

Manage stock control, ordering, cost management, and supplier relationships.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.

Work closely with the F&B and hotel leadership teams to deliver events, promotions, and guest experiences.

Act as a visible leader on the floor, engaging with guests and driving service excellence.
