Job Description
We are delighted to be working with a Jewellery Quarter based organisation who are recruiting for a Credit Controller on a 14 month FTC to provide maternity cover. This role is due to start ASAP and is available on a part time (four days per week) basis.The salary for this position is £29,300 (FTE) and our client is happy to be flexible with the non-working day. This is a hybrid position and offers working from home 1 - 2 days per week.Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Responsible for managing the company's debtor ledger and credit control function
* Managing own ledger of 300/400 live accounts
* Allocating cash to correct accounts and updating ledgers
* Assessing credit risk
* Ensuring that debts are paid on time and in accordance with credit terms
* Creating new accounts and ensuring all necessary information is provided
* Reconciling accounts and statements
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records and liaising with sales and finance teams to resolve any issues
Experience required:
* Experience required in credit control, credit risk and debt collection
* Confident telephone manner
