Our client, a well-established dealership representing multiple leading car brands, is seeking a highly skilled Parts Manager to join their franchise-approved dealership in Wiltshire.

Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm, with 1 in 2 Saturdays, 8:00am to 12:30pmDuties as a Parts Manager:
The Parts Manager will oversee all aspects of the parts department, including stock control, stock ordering, and supplier relationships to ensure maximum efficiency
Manage departmental overheads and stock values to stay within budget
Ensure the timely sale of parts to meet customer requirements and optimise profitability
Monitor daily parts sales performance, analyse gross profit margins, and implement corrective measures as required
Control parts purchasing activities to maintain cost-effectiveness and compliance with franchise agreements
Maintain optimal parts stock levels, ensuring availability while minimising obsolescence as the Parts Manager
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of departmental staff, setting clear targets and performance objectives
Utilise dealer management systems and electronic parts catalogues efficiently in daily operations
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams
Deliver excellent customer service and support sales initiatives to maximise departmental revenueRequirements:
Proven recent automotive parts management experience within a franchise dealership or motor factor environment
Strong team leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff as a Parts Manager
Good stock control and purchasing expertise
Excellent IT skills, including working with dealer management systems and electronic parts catalogues
Friendly, charismatic, and professional manner with outstanding customer service skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
