Huge Small Victories – maintenance worker role on the Ardenwood School campus, part of The Secret Garden School. You’ll help keep our school building, vehicles and grounds in excellent condition for our young people.
Opening
Autumn term 2026. Ardenwood is a purpose‑built primary campus catering for up to 40 pupils with a wide range of needs.
Responsibilities
* Carry out general, day‑to‑day repairs to maintain the school building.
* Drive and maintain school vehicles.
* Keep the school grounds and garden neat and tidy.
* Provide a friendly, approachable presence for students, and support with child safeguarding training.
Qualifications & Skills
* Maintenance skills – professional experience or DIY enthusiasm.
* ‘Can‑do’ attitude – a team player who rolls up sleeves to help others.
* Confidence to procure small maintenance equipment independently.
* Willingness to undertake Health & Safety and other relevant training.
