We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Project Manager to lead and support high priority projects across CTMUHB which will underpin the organisations strategic objectives. You will be an effective manager who can develop and deliver projects and lead diverse teams to jointly drive forward organisational improvement and efficiency agendas.
You will have excellent communication and engagement skills necessary to influence at all levels within the organisation, and the skills and tenacity to overcome barriers and meet the expectations of the organisation.
Main duties of the job
The Project Manager's prime responsibility is to ensure that assigned projects produce the required deliverables within the defined quality, time and cost constraints and to facilitate full realisation of benefits defined in the Business Case through the application of project management methodology and techniques.
The role sits within a Project Management Office and will provide support to the CH/PMO work programme. In addition the post holder will be required to support the named service lead for specific projects assigned to them and to line manage the Band 5 Assistant Project Manager.
Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesn't mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health. * Welsh Language Skills (Level 3 and above/B2) are Desirable for this Role.
Experience
