Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Groundworks Ganger to lead and work alongside a gang on civil engineering and groundworks projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and supervise a gang of groundworkers on site
* Carry out all aspects of groundworks including drainage, ducting, foundations, kerbing, concreting, and excavation
* Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, RAMS, and programme
* Maintain high standards of health & safety at all times
* Coordinate with site management and other trades
* Ensure tools, materials, and plant are used correctly and safely
* Carry out hands-on groundworks as required
Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Groundworks Ganger or Senior Groundworker
* EUSR Part 1 & Part 2 (required)
* Valid CSCS card
* Fit for Work Medical
* Strong knowledge of groundworks and utilities environments
* Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively on site
* Good understanding of health & safety regulations
