Responsibilities as a Power Electronics Engineer: Design of critical power components for new products & designs Design and develop analogue, digital, and electronic circuits and systems for power electronics Explore emerging technology in the field, innovating ways to incorporate into designs and products Working alongside a talented and multi-disciplinary team consisting of hardware, firmware and mechanical engineers to navigate complex system designs and trade-offs. Technical Requirements as a Power Electronics Engineer: MEng or MSc in Power Electronics or related discipline experience in a commercial environment Proficiency with SPICE circuit simulation tools Strong understanding of thermal design, DFM, mechanical constraints, and PCB layout Strong understanding of/experience with SMPS.
