Duties:
Build and test software to support the company's products and services.
Be responsible for producing and maintaining software build and software test specifications.
Act as technical liaison within the company and for customers, and collaborators on software related matters.
Assist in the improvement and testability of software.
Skills:
Must have a good Engineering Degree with Software Content or equivalent
Candidates with extensive experience in a similar role without a degree may be considered
Must have practical experience of testing software for PCs running Windows.
Experience of writing test plans, specifications, and reports is essential
Experience of building software & software installers desirable
Experience in similar position within a Technical/Engineering organisation preferred.
Knowledge of scripting/programming languages to help automate builds and testing.
Must be willing to travel occasionally to visit and sail with ships in the UK and abroad.
Due to the nature of the business you will be required to be a British Citizen with 5 years traceable history.
