I am a lady with multiple sclerosis and am looking for someone who can support me in gaining confidence and independence at home and out in the community. I am looking to recruit someone who is compassionate, will help me remain independent, and will provide companionship. I have a great sense of humour and am looking for someone of a similar nature to enjoy time with.
Location: PE30
Details:
* Helping and supporting them to be independent with household cleaning tasks in and around the home.
* Any other reasonable duties as requested.
* Support in accessing the local community.
Person specification
* Essential: Females are required due to personal care aspects of the role.
* Someone with patience, compassion, and a positive attitude.
* The person I employ must have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of work, including total respect for my privacy.
* Desirable: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Summary of terms and conditions
* The pay rate for this position is £12.38 per hour for employed PA and £14.94 per hour for self‑employed PA.
* Hours and times of work: 4 hours per week.
* Desired hours of work: Preference Tuesday and Thursday between 10:30 am to 14:30 pm. Time discussed further at interview.
* The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
* The post is subject to the following:
o A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
o Satisfactory references from two referees, one of whom must be your current or last employer.
o Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
