Membership Commercial Manager
Role Purpose
To lead the commercial strategy, ensuring the programme remains financially sustainable through membership revenue while delivering the high-impact place-marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Growth & Sustainability:
Develop and execute a robust membership recruitment and retention strategy to hit annual revenue targets.
Stakeholder & Partnership Management:
Cultivate high-level relationships with businesses, facilitating B2B introductions and strategic networking.
SLA Compliance & Reporting:
Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including event attendance, membership diversity, and inward investment leads.
Person Specification
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in business development, commercial management, or high-level membership services.
Proven track record of managing public-private partnerships or local government-commissioned services.
Experience in the Coventry and Warwickshire business landscape is highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong commercial acumen with experience in P&L management and budget forecasting.
Exceptional networking and public speaking skills; able to influence senior decision-makers.
Proficiency in CRM management and data analysis for performance reporting.
Attributes:
