About the Employer

Epworth Education Trust (Central office in Leigh, travelling to schools within the Trust)


Position

Educational Psychologist

Salary: £47,688 - £57,954 (full-time equivalent)

Hours: 37 hours per week – part time or term time hours considered.


Key Responsibilities

* Lead and develop psychological services across the Trust, fostering relational and trauma-informed approaches.
* Balance direct work with children and consultation, assessment, training and strategic advice for staff.
* Support all areas of SEND in line with the Code of Practice, using a solution-focused, preventative model with assessment via observation, consultation, pupil views, and direct work.
* Inform interventions including classroom strategies, curriculum adaptations, therapeutic support, and referrals to external agencies such as CAMHS.
* Plan and deliver SEND-specific CPD and training, working alongside Executive Leaders to support whole-school and Trust-wide priorities.
* Contribute to the development of Education, Health and Care Plans and strategic SEND initiatives.
* Evaluate and celebrate the positive impact of your work through teacher feedback, EHCP outcomes, case studies, learning walks and school self-evaluations.


Qualifications

* HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist.
* Passionate about inclusion, mental health and helping children succeed academically and in life.
