Quality Inspector : Weekends or Weekday Nights

Salary: A GBP 20.02 per hours (Weekday Nights, including shift allowance)
A GBP 21.36 : A GBP 22.78 per hour (Weekends)
Hours: 21:15 : 07:00, Monday : Thursday

Fri 11:30am:12am
Sat 1pm : 1:30am
Sun 1pm : 1:30am
Role Summary
This Quality Inspector role involves working within a small, highly skilled team to deliver high:quality transmission components, primarily for the motorsport and aerospace sectors. The Quality Inspector will focus is on achieving right first:time quality through accurate inspection, strong technical understanding, and adherence to routed timeframes.
Role and Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector
* Interpret and work accurately from complex technical drawings and geometric tolerances
* Inspect components against drawings and planning route cards to the highest quality standards
* Carry out manual inspection using a range of measuring equipment
* Perform table work to validate components against drawing and planning requirements
* Support continuous improvement activities through proactive problem:solving
* Provide flexible support to other manufacturing areas when required
* Work additional hours when necessary to meet delivery deadlines
Requirements of the Role
* The Quality Inspector will have a strong understanding of technical drawings and geometric tolerances
* Experience inspecting precision components within routed timeframes
* Competence using manual measuring equipment
* Experience performing detailed table inspection work
* Programming experience on CMM systems would be beneficial
* Knowledge of Mitutoyo software would be advantageous
* Proactive, innovative mindset with a strong team:focused approach
