We're excited to announce opportunities for SEN Teachers to join our brand-new SEN school in Derby, opening in September 2025.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and support staff, to provide holistic support.
* Create a safe and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
* Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies to ensure continuous development.
* Engage with parents and caregivers to support student learning beyond the classroom.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working with students with SEN, particularly those with ASC and SEMH needs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A flexible and creative approach to teaching.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
