Hunt’s Food Group is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team. This is a field-based role covering the Bristol area, working closely with chefs, buyers Retail and foodservice professionals across the region.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record in the Foodservice & Retail sector and a clear understanding of what chefs and buyers value when selecting suppliers. Strong knowledge across multiple categories, including fruit and vegetables, dry store, meat and dairy, is essential, along with the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities
* Grow and maintain sales with The Hunt’s Food Group customers across the territory.
* Visit and engage with a diverse customer base of retail and catering clients, selling products and offering menu and range advice.
* Secure new business opportunities to an agreed target value.
* Maintain and actively increase area margin to ensure profitability.
* Work with transport and operations teams to ensure smooth deliveries and resolve any service issues.

* Proven history in a food or drink sales environment.

* Ability to work effectively as part of a larger team.
* Previous experience in wholesale or the food industry.
* Good geographical knowledge of the supply area.
