Our client is a leading firm in the charity and not-for-profit sector, also providing taxation consultancy to many charitable businesses. This role supports the Directors and requires a well-organised, client-focused individual with excellentmunication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively.
Your new role
1. Assist the Partners with high-level Accounting/Tax work and related correspondence.
2. Liaise with clients and proactively correspond with HMRC andernment departments.
3. Conduct Accounting and Tax research as necessary for the charitable and not-for-profit sectors.
4. Finalise Statutory Accounts, Tax Returns, and otherpliance work.
5. Support supervision of senior staff and the firm’s accounting department.
What you'll need to succeed
6. Ability to finalise financial statements and taxpliance work for SMEs.
7. Strong knowledge of direct tax legislation.
8. Qualified ACA/ACCA with a minimum of 6 years’ practice experience.
9. Good understanding of accounting and auditing standards.
10. Accurate and proficient in accounting software packages.
11. Desire to build a career in the ethical, charitable and not-for-profit sector
12. Excellentmunication and IT skills
