Next Ventures is seeking an experienced senior HRIS Programme Manager for a long-term contract position with our client in Scotland.
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Scotland
Duration: 12 months + extension
Rate: INSIDE IR35
Description:
* Programme Leadership & Strategy: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale HRIS programmes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
* Develop and manage programme plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risks.
* Align HRIS initiatives with HR strategy and business objectives, translating goals into project plans.
* System Implementation & Optimization: Oversee implementation, configuration, and integration of HRIS modules (e.g., Core HR, Payroll, Talent Management, Benefits, Time Tracking) within Workday, Oracle Cloud HCM, or SAP SuccessFactors.
* Drive process re-engineering to improve efficiency, data accuracy, and user experience.
* Ensure effective testing, data migration, and cutover strategies.
* Stakeholder Management & Communication: Serve as main contact for programme communications, providing updates to leadership, HR, IT, and stakeholders.
* Build relationships with teams, vendors, and partners.
* Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and manage expectations.
* Vendor Management & Team Leadership: Manage vendor relationships, including selection, contracts, performance, and deliverables.
* Lead project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
* Establish programme governance, including change control and issue resolution.
* Risk Management & Quality Assurance: Identify and mitigate risks, and ensure quality of HRIS solutions.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
* 8+ years experience in HRIS programme or project management, especially large-scale implementations.
* Hands-on experience with Workday HCM, Oracle Cloud HCM, or SAP SuccessFactors.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lead and motivate teams.
* Vendor management experience, including selection and oversight.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
* Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, Business, or related field.
