Role: Senior FS Engineer
Location: Actemium Automation Nottingham - Main office (Ilkeston)
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5hrs per week, Flexible Hours
Salary Range: £50,000 to £60,000 (depending on experience)
About the role
As a Senior Engineer at Actemium Automation Nottingham, you will play a crucial role in our project lifecycle. This customer-focused role involves assisting in creating new tenders, direct sourcing, and collaborating with Project Managers.
Main Responsibilities
* Direct liaison with customers and internal design/management teams
* Onsite commissioning and testing of control systems, adhering to site regulations
* Provide technical supervision of system design, build, and installation personnel; conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies
* Design and testing of control systems in accordance with specifications, standards, and legislative requirements
The Person
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
* Ability to understand and produce control system design documents
* Understanding of the technical project lifecycle
* Good time management skills with a structured, methodical approach
* Appreciation of industrial software control systems
