Our client is market leading and award-winning technology business going through an exciting period of growth and change. The business provides innovative technology solutions into a range of industries including gaming, technology, manufacturing, entertainment, healthcare, with opportunities to further expand into new industries. We are helping the organisation to recruit a Managing Director for their largest division which is £40m turnover with aspirations to double in size. The role full accountability for the division’s commercial, product delivery, development and operational functions. The role forms part of the Senior Leadership Team, working in close collaboration with the Board.
Role Summary
Due to the business wanting to significantly grow and develop the business, we are helping them to recruit a new Managing Director who can help them take the business forward.
Headquartered in the UK, the company is a £40m turnover business operating globally and has ambitious growth plans to double in size over the next 5 years. The business has recently developed a brand new technology which has the ability to deliver huge amounts of growth on a global scale. The incoming Managing Director will be an experienced and highly commercial business leader, with a successful track record of enhancing profitability and growing technology businesses. Reporting into the Group CEO, this is a key appointment with full P&L and strategic responsibility for the division.
Essential Experience
* A Degree qualified senior leader, with previous experience as a Managing Director, Commercial Director, Chief Commercial Officer or similar, with a positive reputation with clients. The successful candidate will have previous P&L responsibility with revenues >£30m and a successful and demonstrable track record.
* Very strong commercial background and successful experience leading and transforming direct and indirect global sales teams.
* Demonstrable track record in leadership, within a multinational environment.
* Experience spanning Product Development including Hardware and Software, Innovation, R&D and GTM.
* Experience of technologies such as VR, AR, motion capture, spatial computing, computer vision, or a closely related technology which may include machine learning and/or AI/Generative AI.
* Desire to work in fast pace and evolving environments.
* Ability to travel to company offices and customers, globally.
