What We Are Looking For
* An Electrical Project Manager with at least one of the following:
o Electrical Management experience
o Project Management / Construction experience in a multi-trade environment working with MEP trades.
1. A professional with experience performing the following tasks:
* Manage projects to ensure work is completed as scheduled, within budget, with high quality, and in compliance with the contract.
* Produce an SOV, submit billing, approve invoices, review job costs, complete financial reports, and manage project financial performance.
* Participate in monthly financial reviews covering cash flow, billing, change orders, project risks, etc.
* Estimate accurately using quantity takeoff, assembly selection, and tools like Accubid.
* Perform routine site visits to identify and communicate issues related to scope, schedule, materials, manpower, quality, and safety.
* Manage the BIM process from estimate to field installation.
* Quickly identify and resolve problems.
* Read and understand schedules for planning and management.
* Manage change orders and RFIs effectively.
* Manage subcontractor relationships to ensure schedule, scope, and safety expectations are met.
* Participate in employee performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback.
* Oversee project closeout, punch list, record drawings, and demobilization.
* Develop new business relationships and maintain existing ones.
* Promote continuous learning and skill development within the team.
* Communicate project information clearly to stakeholders.
* Review blueprints and project documents for strategy formulation.
* Foster a merit-based, cooperative environment.
* Understand the scope of work for other trades at the site.
* Coordinate safety practices with the Safety Team.
* Willingness to work onsite five days a week when necessary.
* Lead and participate in meetings and activities.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years supervising electrical construction operations.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
* Experience managing projects under $50 million or scopes within mega projects.
* Strong understanding of modeling to fabrication workflows.
* Ability to communicate models effectively for fabrication and installation.
* Proven success in installing complex fabricated assemblies.
* Experience working in a Joint Venture.
* Understanding of percentage of completion and financial reporting.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Strong leadership qualities.
* Experience with Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and Accubid.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
