Position Overview Under supervision, the Therapist I provides individual, group, family, and/or couples therapy and collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive treatment to the client and their family. This opportunity is working with our brand new, one of a kind, ARFID Center of Excellence which focused on specialized treatment and programming for adults with avoidant/restrictive food intake disorders. Schedule 1.0 FTE, (40hrs/wk) working Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm How Therapists Empower Recovery Conducts individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions with the client and their family/ community of support utilizing evidence-based treatments. Create, implement, and continuously monitor individualized treatment plans, ensuring they align with the client's evolving therapeutic needs and goals. Provide guidance and coaching during individual client and family meals when clinically indicated, promoting healthy eating behaviors, and addressing disordered eating patterns. Actively contribute to treatment team discussions by sharing client assessments, family dynamics, and responses to therapeutic interventions. Perform comprehensive intake evaluations to assess new clients, gathering essential clinical information to inform treatment planning. Support the therapeutic environment by assisting with milieu management as needed, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere for all clients. Generates discharge plans by making treatment and other recommendations, and coordinating next level of care services. Work closely with external professionals and community agencies to ensure a seamless transition and continuity of care for client’s post-discharge. Therapist II (Independently Licensed) will offer clinical supervision to colleagues when appropriate, depending on licensure and expertise. Qualifications Education Qualifications: Therapist I - Current Provisional or Associate licensure required in the state of employment required. Therapist II - Current independent licensure in the state of employment required. Master’s degree in a behavioral sciences field required. Professional Qualifications: Individual, family, or group psychotherapy experience required. DBT, CBT, FBT experience preferred. Eating Disorders treatment experience preferred Computer proficiency required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Other Qualifications: Employees at Residential or Inpatient sites must have a valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive. Employees at Residential or Inpatient sites are required to have a current Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. Employees at Residential or Inpatient sites are required to have a current First Aid certification within 30 days of hire. Employees at Residential or Inpatient sites in North Carolina or Georgia are required to have a current CPI certification within 30 days of hire.
