Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our Bar & Bistro. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. As a Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within the office environment while providing exceptional service to clients and visitors during the festive period.
Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.
* Answer phone calls, manage inquiries, and take bookings for large tables paying close attention to allergies and dietary requirements.
* Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
* Handle administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
* Utilise Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for various clerical tasks including typing reports and correspondence.
* Gather all pre orders from all festive tables throughout December within 48 pre order time window.
* Collaborate with kitchen team members to support daily operations and special projects.
Experience
* Previous office experience is essential, with a focus on administrative roles.
* Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
* Strong phone etiquette and excellent verbal communication skills are required.
* Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment.
