The Environment Agency are fully committed to having an inclusive workforce to reflect the communities we serve. We don't just talk about diversity; we seek it, embrace it, and live it, for the benefit of our staff, our communities, and our environment.
You will work right at the centre of the CRG Enforcement Resilience Team, supporting our Team to ensure that we achieve a consistent, high standard of enforcement capability across our sector teams. * Work with the team to support our senior leaders to identify and make strategic decisions related to enforcement. Make use of engagement and communication opportunities.
* Work to support the Enforcement Systems Review to improve how we do enforcement across all parts of the business, working in partnership with Ops Portfolios, Legal and NECU to address business improvement needs.
* Support cross-cutting responses related to Enforcement, for example responses to Defra requests, developments, communications and inputs to reviews.
* Work with Enforcement Resilience Colleagues to evaluate and report on performance and develop ideas for future KPI needs.
* Have a range of development opportunities and appropriate training will be provided.
Experience/skills Required
* Good communication and influencing skills – you’ll be able to present complex information clearly and succinctly to enable decisions to be made.
* An ability to respond to tight deadlines, prioritise, and work quickly and accurately to ensure tasks and actions are completed.
* An understanding of regulation and enforcement would be useful with a drive to work in this sector.
