Supervisor – Excel Exhibition Centre Outlets
Could you shine as Detroit City Burger's next Supervisor? We need an energetic and flexible individual to lead our fast‑food outlets at the Excel Exhibition Centre.
* Minimum 25 hours per week / 100 hours per 4‑week period on an adjustable shift pattern.
* Highly organized, lead by example, motivate a dedicated team.
* Work efficiently, prioritise workload and show initiative.
What we’ll give
* £13.50 per hour, reviewed after 6 months.
* Minimum 100 hours per 4‑week period, with more during busy periods.
* Hourly performance and time‑keeping bonuses up to £1.50 per hour after 3‑month probation.

Role description
This part‑time role requires overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and food safety, and coordinating team activities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Staff Management: Train and motivate food‑service and kitchen staff to deliver high‑quality service.
* Daily Operations: Supervise all QSR activities to ensure smooth flow from preparation to delivery.
* Customer Service: Resolve complaints promptly and deliver a positive dining experience.
* Health & Safety: Maintain food‑safety standards, cleaning protocols and conduct spot checks.
* Inventory & Supplies: Manage stock levels to meet demand while minimising waste.
* Quality Control: Monitor food quality and presentation to meet company benchmarks.
* Financial Management: Process payments accurately, balance tills at shift end.
Skills and qualifications
* Leadership & Training: Ability to train, motivate and keep staff on task.
* Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Problem‑solving: Resolve customer complaints quickly.
* Organisational skills: Manage schedules and daily operations.
* Knowledge of regulations: Understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene laws, Level 2 Food Safety certificate.
* Technical skills: Experience with POS systems.
* Sales: Ability to upsell menu items.
* Equipment knowledge: Basic troubleshooting.
* Representation: Ambassador for Legacy Koncepts / Detroit City Burger.
Who you are
* Passionate about exceptional customer service.
* Previous QSR experience, ideally in a fast‑food burger restaurant.
* Experience supervising teams.
* Self‑motivated and able to multi‑task.
* Knowledge of Asian, Italian, and other world cuisines.
* Ambitious, motivated, and eager to upskill.
* Hands‑on and can‑do attitude.
In addition, the ideal candidate would have
* Ability to work at pace while maintaining high standards.
* Excellent time‑management skills, meet deadlines.
* Some knowledge with Excel and Word.
* Excellent numerical skills for ordering and stock levels.
