Overview
CMM Programmer opportunity within a growing precision engineering business supplying complex components to customers across aerospace, automotive, motorsport, defence and other highly regulated industries.
Responsibilities
* Program and operate CMM equipment to inspect precision-engineered components.
* Conduct first-off, in-process and final inspections in line with customer requirements.
* Interpret engineering drawings and verify components against specification.
* Use micrometers, verniers, contour measurement and other inspection equipment.
* Work closely with manufacturing teams to resolve quality concerns and ensure compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience as a CMM Programmer, CMM Inspector, CMM Operator, Quality Inspector or similar.
* Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, geometric tolerances and inspection requirements.
* Knowledge of IATF 16949, AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality standards.
* Good understanding of measurement evaluation techniques and inspection reporting.
* Experience within precision engineering/machining environments.
