Support Worker – Independent Supported Living

Completely Care Ltd are recruiting for support workers to help make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young adults?
An independent supported living service provides accommodation and support to young adults who are developing their independence. As a Support Worker, you’ll offer a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where young people feel heard, supported, and respected. You’ll be there to guide them through everyday life – whether that’s cooking dinner, handling a challenge calmly, or simply being a reliable presence.
Duties:
5. Build positive, trusting relationships with young residents
6. Support of the residents with daily living skills, including cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and personal care
7. Maintain clear and accurate records of observations, incidents, and support provided
8. Work independently during lone shifts while remaining connected to a wider team
9. Respond calmly and appropriately to distress or challenging behaviour
10. Uphold safeguarding policies and follow protocols to maintain a safe environment
11. Carry out basic property checks and ensure the home is safe and welcoming
Your experience:
12. Experience working with people in residential care, supported living, youth work, or similar
13. Emotionally resilient and calm under pressure
14. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
15. Confident working alone and managing responsibilities
16. A clear understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
17. Practical knowledge of home safety and routines (training provided)
18. Willingness to work flexibly – including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
19. A clear enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
