About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Surveyor Assistant to join our growing civils team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in civil engineering and surveying, with the potential to secure a permanent position after a successful temporary period.
You’ll work alongside experienced site and land surveyors, supporting all aspects of civil engineering surveying and data collection on a range of infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with setting out, levelling, and surveying civil engineering works
Collect and record accurate site data using GPS and total station equipment
Support with topographical and as-built surveys
Liaise with engineers, site managers, and other project staff
Maintain equipment and ensure calibration records are up to date
Adhere to all site health and safety procedures Requirements
Some experience in civil engineering or surveying preferred (training provided)
CSCS card desirable
Knowledge of AutoCAD or surveying software is an advantage
Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
Full UK driving licence
