Background:
STYRKR is one of the fastest-growing performance nutrition brands, trusted by endurance athletes across cycling, running, and adventure sport. With a science-led product range and in-house UK manufacturing capabilities, we’re scaling rapidly across D2C, B2B, and contract manufacturing channels in the UK, US, EU, and beyond.
We’re now looking for a hands-on Operations Planner to help drive our next phase of growth. Based between our HQ and Crawley production site, you’ll be responsible for daily production planning, team coordination, and operational compliance to ensure everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a practical, fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives in a production environment, knows how to manage shifting priorities, and wants to make a real impact on a growing business.
Main Accountabilities:
🏭 Production Planning & Execution
* Own daily and weekly production schedules across powders and liquids.
* Monitor output, yields, and maintenance KPIs.
* Use ERP systems to manage BOMs, routings, and work orders.
* Ensure real-time inventory accuracy including expiry dates and allergen control.
👷 Team Management & Development
* Lead and coordinate powder and liquid production teams (mixing, filling, labelling, packaging).
* Manage shift schedules, track team targets, and drive accountability.
* Foster a culture of high standards across hygiene, safety, and performance.
🧪 Compliance & Health & Safety
* Oversee compliance with HACCP, GMP, and Health & Safety requirements.
* Implement and monitor COSHH and allergen control processes.
* Ensure batch traceability and documentation accuracy for all production runs.
🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Liaise with Purchasing to ensure material availability aligns with production needs.
* Work closely with Supply Chain and Warehouse teams for stock management and dispatch timelines.
* Support NPD launches and scale-up of contract manufacturing operations.
What You’ll Bring:
* Team leadership experience in a food, FMCG, or manufacturing environment.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to plan, prioritise, and multitask.
* Solid understanding of HACCP, GMP, and H&S practices.
* Confident using Excel/Sheets and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
* UK work rights required.
Desirable:
* Experience in supplement or wellness manufacturing.
* HACCP Level 3+, IOSH, or Food Safety certification.
* Familiarity with Amazon FBA or eComm fulfilment processes.
* Understanding of supply chain or purchasing processes.
