About the role
As Income Manager, you’ll provide leadership, direction and assurance across all income and recoverable debt services, including rent, service charges, and leasehold income.
You’ll:
* Lead, coach and inspire a committed team to deliver excellent income performance
* Use data, insight and performance trends to identify risks and drive improvement
* Promote a “prevention first” approach, balancing support for residents with fair and proportionate recovery action
* Oversee complex and high‑risk cases, ensuring legal compliance and best practice
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and partners, influencing decisions and driving positive outcomes
* Strengthen organisational assurance through robust controls and continuous service improvement

* Has experience leading or influencing teams in housing or income management
* Brings strong knowledge of rent, arrears and recoverable debt processes
* Uses data and insight to make informed decisions and improve outcomes
* Can balance empathy and support with firm, fair decision‑making
* Demonstrates excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills
