Director – Membership & Growth

Harvey Nash is proud to have been exclusively engaged by a leading UK media organisation to recruit a Director of Membership & Growth to take ownership of a high-profile digital membership proposition within its rapidly growing streaming and digital business.
This is a pivotal leadership role with full accountability for driving sustainable membership growth, viewer revenue, and long-term customer engagement across a large-scale, consumer-facing platform.
You will shape the strategic direction, commercial performance, and evolution of a major digital proposition at the heart of the organisation's future growth strategy.
We are particularly interested in senior leaders with a strong track record in digital subscription, D2C, or platform-based businesses, ideally within media, technology, or high-scale consumer digital environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and define the strategic vision for the digital membership proposition
Lead cross-functional growth initiatives and performance objectives
Drive proposition design, positioning, and audience strategy
Lead commercial optimisation, including pricing, packaging, and revenue modelling
Own end-to-end customer lifecycle performance, including acquisition, retention, and churn reduction
Essential Skills and Experience:
Demonstrable experience leading subscription or recurring revenue models
Strong commercial and monetisation expertise
Deep understanding of customer lifecycle and retention mechanics
Advanced data-driven decision-making capability
Experience shaping and evolving digital propositions
Proven ability to influence at executive and board level
