A regulated FinTech (UK & EU EMI-licenced) backed by Banking Circle’s payment rails are looking for a seasoned Node.js/React Developer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. They're on a mission to redefine how businesses access account-to-account payments, card issuing, and financial services across the UK, EU, and US, serving both direct customers and strategic partners.
You’ll be one of the founding members driving their migration to a modern Node.js / React / API-first stack, rebuilding client-facing applications from the ground up and shaping the future of financial product delivery.
Full-Stack Node.js/React Developer – Key Responsibilities
* Build the new Node.js / React client stack (Next.js experience a plus)
* Integrate with existing Ruby services, adding APIs or middleware as needed
* Drive secure, multi-tenant authorization/authentication (OIDC/OAuth)
* Contribute to frontend design and user experience, especially in financial UI
Full-Stack Node.js/React Developer – Key Skills Required
* 3–5 years of full stack web development
* Strong Node.js experience (especially for backend / middleware)
* Deep React.js experience using modern practices and state management
* Solid understanding of frontend design: usability, accessibility, polished UI
* Proven experience or understanding of OIDC / OAuth flows in multi-tenant systems
* Security mindset (handling sensitive data, regulatory constraints)
* Excellent communication - able to present technical decisions to product / business stakeholders
Desirable / Bonus
* Experience in financial services, payments, banking or regulated environments
* Exposure to Next.js, Vue.js, or other JS frameworks
* Prior work migrating legacy systems or transforming architecture
* Familiarity with containerisation, microservices, AWS deployments
